Walking Gospel Yoga is headquartered in Daphne, Alabama in The Yoga Hive Studio, formerly Pneuma yoga studio. Pneuma was founded by Christian yoga pioneer, Susan Bordenkircher, who authored Yoga for Christians and created yoga DVDs in the early 2000s. She established one of the first Christian yoga ministries in the country, Outstretched, Inc. in 2002. Bordenkircher teamed up with Kara Rogers in 2018 and the two have been continuing their mutual passion of sharing the message of Jesus and love of yoga with their community. In 2019, renamed Pneuma, The Yoga Hive.

The Yoga Hive became home to Walking Gospel Yoga in 2020. Walking Gospel Yoga classes provide an environment for students to prayerfully and respectfully commune with God through the practice. These classes offer scripture, prayer and messaging in alignment with Christianity and often include contemporary Christian music. The Yoga Hive offers both Christian and secular classes and seeks to hold space for all people regardless of their religious background or affiliation.
